Nah resident evil 7 and outlast are personally my scariest horror games. Currently streaming it on twitch too and takes the edge off having people to chat to! (lol) Ohuss
Some fantastic moments and even after 20+ hours I still found moments genuinely scary. One of the hardest damn games I've ever played. If you try to push on while always on the look out for an emergency hiding spot you generally do much better. If you do spend a lot of time hiding in lockers the game will adapt so the alien checks lockers more, and the longer you hang around in an area the alien will center in on your general location. Then the other issue I see players run into is simply being too timid. Definitely gotta turn that setting off as it can cause much frustration.

One thing a lot of streamers run into is the noise detect thing where the alien can hear if you make noise (i.e. It's only about an 18 hour game in the first place! I've played it through a couple of times (normal then hard difficulty) and watched a fair few streamers play it.
